A Sermon, Exhibiting The Present Dangers, And Consequent Duties Of Citzens Of The United States Of America. Delivered At Charlestown, April 25, 1799, The Day Of The National Fast. By Jedidiah Morse, D.D. Pastor Of The Church In Charlestown. Published At The Request Of The Hearers. Cornelius Davis. New-York. 1799. 8vo, 36 p. Disbound, trimmed close at bottom. Ex-collection, New York Historical Society. Highly interesting conservative attack on the excesses of the French Revolution, especially in Haiti, and identifying the members of a French Masonic lodge in Norfolk, Va. Freemasons, he warned, were Illuminati and the vanguard of sedition in America. Sermon is on the text from Psa.XI:3, "If the foundations be destroyed, what can the righteous do?" Morse mentions Robison’s work "Proofs of a conspiracy", republished by the John Birch Society.  I.D.#03905.
