Historical sketch of the Deep South with four vertical unnamed counties called "New Mississippi" just below Memphis includes Pontotock, Falkland, Wyatt or Mitchell's Bluff on Tallahatchee, Underwood Village, Longtown, and" Monroe, a Missionary Station". Folson's Pigeon Roost on Natchez Trace in Choctaw Co. Two large, unnamed counties in NE & NW AL, due to removal of Creeks and Cherokees, includes Willstown, a Missionary station above Turkey Town. Extraordinary details include: canals (N. Orleans & Teche R. Canal from Lake Barataria along B. Black to ayou Teche); stage roads, common roads, railroads (only one visible goes from New Orleans to Lake Pontchartrain, not a long haul).
