HENRIETTA LINTNER ARTIST BIRDSEYE VIEW
LINTNER, HENRIETTA. WASHINGTON DISTRICT OF COLUMBIA OUR
NATION'S CAPITAL. BRENTANO'S BOOK STORE. c1948. FULL COLOR.
LITHOGRAPHY. "Prepared with the aid of Fairchild Air views.
Unfolded copies can be obtained from any Brentano's Book Store."
Folded color plan after a watercolor by artist Henrietta Lintner.
Beautiful, monumental plan surrounded by a calligraphic 1920 quote
from architect Daniel H. Burnham. "Make no little plans; they have
no magic to stir men's blood and probably themselves will not be
realized. Make big plans; aim high in hope and work remembering
that a noble logical diagram once recorded, will be a living thing
asserting itself with ever growing insistency let your watchword
be order and your beacon beauty." A beautiful work; strangely
there is at present no notice of this talented artist on the
Internet. 21.5"H. x 30"W. VERY GOOD. $275.00. I.D.#29048.
